Mizanur Rahman is a philanthropist, social entrepreneur and innovator. He started his journey as a disability rights advocate in 2008 by founding The Physically-Challenged Development Foundation- PDF, which is the first and now largest youth-led disability rights organization in Bangladesh. Mizan is a U.S exchange alumni and has been recognized by “Forbes 30 under 30” as an Social Entrepreneur icone from Asia. Currently, he is studying for a PhD in Disability Studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago. To promote disability inclusion, diversity, and the development of 21st-century skills among American universities and colleges, Mizan has founded Connecting Dots International (CDI) in 2019. In 2020, along with his CDI team, he launched a mobile application called CrowdV. It is an IOS and Android App which acts as a platform that connects qualified volunteers to people with disabilities. He is also a Fellow of the Emerging Global Leaders Initiative (EGLI)-Atlas Corps and an ex-Fellow of the Asia-Europe Foundation. He loves traveling and exploring nature! He has visited New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia and so on. He also traveled most of the states in the USA to learn new culture and expand networks. He is a creative designer and passionate photographer. He is an amazing public speaker and professional mentor for many startups . Mizan is an extraordinary leader who has demonstrated his ability to be a positive impact in the community by promoting a disabled-friendly society.
